During third period last Thursday the Robogals WA-based team braved highways and traffic congestion to enter our girls-only Gifted & Talented zone for a robotics workshop.

Boys were banished, though Jake hid behind Chelsea’s desk, and John attempted to cruise through the door as if nothing was out of the ordinary. Richard checked out the gal-scene from afar. It’s strange how seductive the unavailable can be.

Cindy (far right above) was once a member of our G&T progam; she will soon graduate as a Civil Engineer. What a fantastic reinforcement of school culture and community having Cindy return metamorphosed as a Robogal to share passion for learning with current students.
